Last week, I had several client meetings, phone calls with other advisors.  I had 5 evening zoom meetings related to a volunteer position that I hold.  Some people I knew well, some not at all.  Unexpected questions, explaining how a fundraising campaign would be adjusted during a pandemic.

I didn’t run out of words in any of those situations.  When I tried a video post however, words were there, then gone.  Really gone.

Words do matter. Silence allows for connections that might otherwise not have happened.  Laughter is valuable.
